Bozena Jankowska is head of the Sustainability Research Team for RCM. Based in London, she is the lead portfolio manager for the Allianz RCM Global EcoTrends Fund. Bozena is responsible for RCM’s sustainable investment policy and strategy. She also has input into the management of a number of global sustainability and SRI institutional portfolios as well as the Allianz Global Investors Sustainability Fund. In addition, Bozena is responsible for managing the firm’s involvement in the Enhanced Analytics Initiative (EAI) and sits on the Allianz Sustainability Strategy Group and Allianz Core Climate Group.
Before joining RCM in 2000, Bozena worked for the construction firm, John Laing Plc as their Business and Environment Adviser developing and implementing corporate sustainability policy and strategy. She graduated from the University of Sussex with a BSc (Honors) in environmental science and an MSc in environmental technology with Distinction from Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, specializing in Business and Environment. Bozena obtained her Investment Management Certificate in July 2001.
Blake Moore is the CEO and a managing director of Allianz Global Investors U.S. Retail. Based in New York City, the company is responsible for retail marketing and distribution for Allianz-owned asset managers in the U.S.: PIMCO, Nicholas-Applegate, RCM, Oppenheimer Capital, NFJ Investment Group (and former affiliate Cadence Capital Management). The company is also responsible for fund management and administration for the Allianz Funds and 26 closed-end funds, and oversees open-end fund, closed-end fund and managed account assets in excess of $130 billion as of 12/31/07.
Prior to joining Allianz Global Investors in 2004, Blake served in a variety of roles for over 10 years at Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management, most recently as Managing Director and a member the firm’s Executive Committee. He was also Chairman, President and a board member of both the Nicholas-Applegate Institutional Funds and the Nicholas-Applegate Fund.
Blake serves on the Board and Executive Committee of the Investment Adviser Association, and was President of the IAA for three years (2005-2007).
Before joining Nicholas-Applegate, Blake was in private practice as a business attorney at Luce, Forward, Hamilton and Scripps in San Diego. He also spent six years as an offensive lineman in the NFL, playing for both the Cincinnati Bengals and the Green Bay Packers.
Blake received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Wooster, class of 1980, and his law degree from Harvard Law School, class of 1989. He and his wife of over 25 years, Cynthia Weiler, live in New York City and have two grown children.
Brian Jacobs is a managing director and head of sales at Allianz Global Investors Distributors. He is responsible for financial intermediary distribution for mutual funds, separately managed accounts and other investment products managed by PIMCO, NFJ, Oppenheimer Capital, RCM, Nicholas-Applegate and Cadence Capital.
Prior to joining Allianz Global Investors in 2000, he was with Eaton Vance in Boston for 10 years where he served as National Sales Director.
Brian began his career in 1984 at a New York-based financial planning firm before advancing to management and national marketing positions.
Brian holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC) designations. Brian is co-chairman of the Board of Forum for Investor Advice. He resides in northern New Jersey with his wife, Karyn, and their four children.
Gunnar Milleris managing director and head of European Equity Research and Sector Funds for RCM, an Allianz-owned investment firm. Prior to joining the firm in 2003, he worked for Goldman Sachs, where he covered European semiconductors and U.S. semiconductor capital equipment. He was also a research analyst for PaineWebber, Kidder, Peabody & Co. and Morgan Stanley.
Gunnar has been widely recognized by the investment industry. He ranked number one in the annual U.S. Institutional Investor poll from 1996 through 2001, and among the top four in the annual Greenwich Associates buy-side poll from 1994 through 2001. He was also named one of Fortune's 15 all-star analysts in 2000, among other citations. Gunnar graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in Economics (magna cum laude) from Lehigh University in 1987.
