Brazil Leads the Way in Emerging Markets Opportunities

04/17/2008

Nicholas-Applegate Capital Management's Horacio Valeiras appeared on TheStreet.com TV on April 17, 2008.

Fund Manager Horacio Valeiras has led the Allianz NACM Emerging Markets Opportunities Fund to a 42 percent average annual return over the past three years. This is due in part to the growth in the Brazilian economy, of which thirteen percent of the fund's portfolio is comprised. Although Valeiras believes growth may slow due to a U.S. slowdown, he still foresees a good pace for Brazilian economic expansion.
