Robert D. Arnott
Robert Arnott established Research Affiliates, L.L.C in 2002 to offer subadvisory services, software and asset management models. He has joined forces with PIMCO, serving as a subadvisor, to offer a global asset allocation product to make active use of liquid alternative markets, beyond conventional stocks, bonds and cash.
Mr. Arnott served as Editor of the Financial Analysts Journal. He has also served as a Visiting Professor of Finance at UCLA, on the editorial board of the Journal of Portfolio Management and two other journals, and on the product advisory board of the Chicago Board Options Exchange and two other exchanges. He previously developed quantitative asset management products and teams as Chairman of First Quadrant, LP, President of TSA Capital Management (now Analytic Investors) and as Vice President at The Boston Company (now PanAgora), and served as global equity strategist at Salomon (now Salomon Smith Barney). He graduated summa cum laude from the University of California in 1977 in economics, applied mathematics and computer science.

Dr. Bhansali is a managing director and portfolio manager of PIMCO, as well as the firmwide head of analytics for portfolio management and a senior member of PIMCO's portfolio management group. Before joining PIMCO in 2000, Dr. Bhansali worked for Credit Suisse First Boston as a vice president in proprietary fixed-income trading. Prior to that, he was a proprietary trader for Salomon Brothers in New York and worked in the global derivatives group at Citibank. He is the author of numerous scientific and financial papers, and the book Pricing and Managing Exotic and Hybrid Options (McGraw Hill, 1998). He currently serves as an associate editor for the International Journal of Theoretical and Applied Finance. Dr. Bhansali began his investment career in 1990. He holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in physics from the California Institute of Technology, and a Ph.D. in theoretical particle physics from Harvard University.

Mr. Conseil is an Executive Vice President and portfolio manager. He manages PIMCO's US dollar bank loan exposure representing in excess of $5 billion under management. He joined PIMCO in 1998 as a senior member of the credit research team, previously having worked in the High-Yield Group at Moody's Investors Service. Mr. Conseil has over sixteen years of investment experience and holds a bachelors degree in economics with a concentration in finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and an MBA in finance/international business from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

John Cummings is an Executive Vice President and portfolio manager within PIMCO's municipal bond team. He joined PIMCO in 2002, previously having been associated with Goldman Sachs as vice president of municipal trading where he was responsible for a number of municipal sectors, including industrials, airlines, utilities, healthcare and high yield. Mr. Cummings has more than 22 years of investment experience and holds a Bachelor's degree in economics and an MBA in finance from Rutgers University.
Mr. Dialynas, who joined PIMCO in 1980, is a managing director, portfolio manager and senior member of the firm's investment strategy group. He has written extensively and lectured on the topic of fixed income investing. He served on the Editorial Board of The Journal of Portfolio Management and was a member of Fixed Income Curriculum Committee of the Association for Investment Management and Research. He holds a B.A. in economics from Pomona College, and holds an M.B.A. in finance from The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Dr. El-Erian is co-CEO and co-CIO of PIMCO, which he rejoined in December 2007 after serving for two years as president and CEO of Harvard Management Company, the entity that manages Harvard’s endowment and related accounts. He earned his B.A. in economics from Cambridge University and doctoral and master’s degrees in economics from Oxford University. He spent 15 years at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, D.C., before moving to the private sector where he served as managing director at Salomon Smith Barney/Citigroup in London. He first joined PIMCO in 1999, where he was a managing director and a senior member of PIMCO’s portfolio management and investment strategy group.
Mohamed El-Erian manages these investment products:
Mr. Gomez is an Executive Vice President, portfolio manager and Co-Head of the Emerging Markets portfolio management team. He joined PIMCO in 2003, previously having been associated with Goldman Sachs where he was responsible for market making and proprietary trading of Emerging Market bonds. Prior to that, he spent a year in Colombia serving as a financial consultant to the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit. Mr. Gomez has over eleven years of investment experience and holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business.
Mr. Gross is a founder and managing director of Pacific Investment Management Company (PIMCO) and has been associated with PIMCO for more than 37 years. As co-chief investment officer of PIMCO he oversees the management of more than $720 billion in fixed income securities. He is the author of numerous articles on the bond market and frequently appears in national publications and the media. Morningstar named Mr. Gross and his investment team Fixed Income Manager of the Year for 1998, 2000 and 2007 based on in-depth evaluation by Morningstar’s senior editorial staff. Mr. Gross’s team was the first ever to receive any Morningstar manager of the year award three times. In presenting the award, Morningstar stated that Mr. Gross had earned it by “demonstrating excellent investment skill, the courage to differ from consensus, and the commitment to shareholders necessary to deliver outstanding long-term performance.” In 2000, Mr. Gross received the Bond Market Association’s Distinguished Service Award. In 1997, Mr. Gross authored Everything You’ve Heard About Investing is Wrong (Times Books / Random House). In 1996, he was the first portfolio manager inducted into the FIASI’s Hall of Fame, for his advances in fixed-income analysis and portfolio management. In a 1993 survey by Pensions and Investments magazine, Mr. Gross was recognized by his peers as the most influential authority on the bond market in the United States. He has 39 years of investment experience and holds a B.A. from Duke University and an M.B.A. from the UCLA Graduate School of Business.
Gang Hu is a senior vice president and portfolio manager focusing on TIPS; he is also part of PIMCO’s 15-member global real return team. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2008, he worked at Deutsche Bank in New York, where he was responsible for trading U.S. inflation products, including TIPS and inflation swaps. Mr. Hu has eight years of investment experience and holds a Ph.D. in applied mathematics from the California Institute of Technology and an undergraduate degree from Tsinghua University in Beijing.
Dan Ivascyn is a Managing Director and a member of PIMCO's mortgage and ABS team. He joined PIMCO in 1998, previously having been associated with Bear Stearns in the asset backed securities group as well as T. Rowe Price and Fidelity Investments. Mr. Ivascyn began his investment career in 1991. He holds a degree in economics from Occidental College and an MBA in analytical finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
Mark Kiesel is a Managing Director and a senior member of PIMCO's investment strategy and portfolio management group. He also heads the investment-grade corporate desk and manages corporate portfolios for the firm. Previously, Mr. Kiesel served as PIMCO's head of equity derivatives and as a senior cedit analyst. Mr. Kiesel joined the firm in 1996, after working in sales and trading at both Merrill Lynch and JP Morgan. He has over a decade of investment experience and holds a B.S.in economics from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. in finance, economics and international business from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business.
Mr. Mather is a PIMCO managing director and member of the investment committee with many years of investment experience in the U.S., U.K. and European markets, including coverage of the sovereign, corporate and MBS sectors. Prior to his recent return to Newport Beach from Europe, Scott oversaw more than $350 billion in assets and led a large portfolio management team located in both the U.K. and Germany. Prior to joining PIMCO in 1998, Scott was a fixed income trader with Goldman Sachs in New York, where he specialized in a broad range of mortgage backed securities. He holds both a B.A. and M.A. degree in engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as a degree in finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. McCulley is a Managing Director, generalist portfolio manager, and member of the investment committee and head of PIMCO’s Short-Term Desk. He also leads PIMCO’s Cyclical Economic Forum and is author of the monthly research publication Global Central Bank Focus. Mr. McCulley joined PIMCO in 1999, previously serving as Chief Economist for the Americas for UBS Warburg. During 1996-98, he was named to six seats on the Institutional Investor All-America Fixed Income Research team. He has twenty-two years of investment experience and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Grinnell College and an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business. He also co-authored Your Financial Edge, which was released in June 2007.
Mr. Mewbourne is a managing director, portfolio manager and head of the emerging markets, diversified income (co-head), and Insurance portfolio management teams. He is also one of PIMCO's six generalist portfolio managers and serves as chairman of the firm's shadow investment committee. He has longtime trading and portfolio management experience spanning a broad range of asset classes. He currently manages portfolios across Credit, Total Return, and Absolute Return strategies. He holds an engineering degree in computer science from the University of Pennsylvania.

William Powers is a Managing Director and a senior member of PIMCO’s portfolio management and investment strategy groups. He joined PIMCO in 1991, previously having been associated with Salomon Brothers, and with Bear Stearns as senior managing director, specializing in mortgage-backed securities. Mr. Powers has twenty-two years of investment experience, and holds a bachelor's degree in economics from PrincetonUniversity and an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Mr. Rodosky is an Executive Vice President in portfolio management of Treasuries, agencies and futures. Mr. Rodosky joined PIMCO in 2001, previously having been associated with Merrill Lynch as Vice President of Institutional Sales. He has 13 years of investment experience and received his Bachelor's degree in English from Villanova University and his Master's degree in financial markets from Illinois Institute of Technology.

Scott Simon is a Managing Director, a senior member of PIMCO's portfolio management and investment strategy groups, and head of PIMCO's mortgage and ABS team. He joined the firm in 2000 from Bear Stearns & Co. in New York, where he was a Senior Managing Director and co-head of MBS pass-through trading. He also managed overall department MBS risk, traded a proprietary MBS book, and authored the Daily MBS Commentary. Over the last 5 years, Mr. Simon was named seven times to positions on the Institutional Investor All-America Fixed Income Research Team, including first place honors in MBS pass-throughs and overall MBS strategies. He began his investment career in 1983 and holds a B.A. and master's degrees in industrial engineering from Stanford University.
Executive Vice President, PIMCO. He joined PIMCO in 2006 and is a portfolio manager specializing in global economics and emerging markets. Prior to joining PIMCO, he worked for seven years international division of the U.S. Department of the Treasury, including as director of the Office the Western Hemisphere and senior advisor to the Under Secretary for International Affairs.
Mr. Worah is a managing director, portfolio manager, and member of the government and derivatives desk. He joined PIMCO in 2001 as a member of the analytics team and worked on term structure modeling and options pricing. Previously he was a post-doctoral research associate at the University of California, Berkeley, and the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, where he built models to explain the difference between matter and anti-matter. He has a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from the University of Chicago and is the author of numerous scientific papers.
